ARM Motorsports 335i 5" Intercooler FMIC

The ARM Motorsports 5" Stepped Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) is a high-performance upgrade designed for BMW 135i and 335i models equipped with the N54 or N55 3.0L engine. This intercooler increases cooling efficiency and power by up to +25whp and +27wtq. The larger 5" stepped core is 47% bigger than the OEM intercooler, which allows for faster, denser airflow into the engine and helps prevent power-robbing heat soak. By keeping the intake air temperature (IAT) consistently lower, the ARM FMIC ensures that the engine maintains maximum boost and timing, even during aggressive driving or after performance modifications. In an independent test, the ARM FMIC kept IATs at 106°F, a substantial 45°F cooler than the OEM intercooler, which reached 151°F. This results in more power, better throttle response, and improved overall engine performance.

The ARM 5" FMIC is designed to be a direct-fit replacement for the OEM intercooler, without requiring irreversible modifications to the bumper. It retains all OEM crash bars and bumper pads, ensuring safety and structural integrity. The kit includes the FMIC and all necessary mounting hardware for a fast and easy installation. With CAD-designed CNC aluminum connectors, the ARM FMIC allows you to use the OEM intercooler hoses or upgrade to the ARM FMIC hose kit for even better airflow and reduced restriction.
