ARM Motorsports 1K (7.5") FMIC HOSE UPGRADE

The ARM 7.5" FMIC Hose Upgrade is engineered to maximize airflow and reduce restrictions for BMW N54 and N55 engines equipped with the ARM 7.5" front-mount intercooler and ARM charge pipe. Replacing both the hot-side and cold-side intercooler hoses, this upgrade provides a dramatic improvement over the restrictive factory piping by increasing internal diameter to a full 3 inches—50% larger than OEM—making it the biggest hose upgrade available for the E8X and E9X platforms.

Built from five layers of high-temperature reinforced silicone, the hoses are pressure-tested to withstand over 30 psi, making them ideal for both stock turbo applications and high-boost upgraded turbo setups. The design eliminates multiple connection points found in typical aftermarket piping kits, providing a single uninterrupted path for the charged air from turbo to intercooler, and from intercooler to charge pipe. This reduces turbulence, improves airflow stability, and enhances throttle response.

The hot-side hose begins at 2.5 inches to match the OEM or ARM turbo outlet, expanding to 3 inches to mate with the ARM 7.5" FMIC. The cold-side hose maintains a full 3" internal diameter from the intercooler outlet to the charge pipe, removing two additional couplers commonly found in other kits. When paired with the ARM Charge Pipe Upgrade, the entire cold side becomes a full 3" system from intercooler to throttle body.
