The ARM Stage 2 Intake System for the Audi 4.0T platform is designed to remove the airflow restrictions inherent in the factory induction system and provide the airflow capacity required for Stage 2 and higher tuning. This complete upgrade combines high-flow intake piping, ARM Dry Filters, a full aluminum heat shield, and oversized billet inlets to fully optimize the breathing of your twin-turbo 4.0T engine.

The factory turbo inlets are the primary bottleneck in the OEM design. The ARM billet inlets included in the Stage 2 system measure an oversized 62mm in diameter, allowing significantly more airflow to reach the compressor wheels. These inlets support everything from stock turbos to +4mm upgraded turbochargers and are required for most Stage 2 and Stage 3 calibrations.

The intake portion includes dual high-flow intake pipes, reinforced silicone couplers, and premium ARM Dry Filters engineered for maximum airflow and advanced filtration. To ensure the coolest possible intake air temperatures, the system includes an ARM aluminum heat shield. This enclosure separates the cold air feeding the intake from the high temperatures generated by the engine, creating a sealed cold-air environment when the hood is closed.

Combined, the upgraded inlets and intake components work together to deliver faster turbo spool, improved throttle response, enhanced turbo sound, and measurable power gains—up to 27whp and 32wtq depending on your tune and supporting modifications.
