ARM Motorsports Audi 4.0T Inlets - S6 S7 RS7

The ARM Motorsports 4.0T Inlets are one of the most impactful bolt-on upgrades for Audi’s 4.0T V8 platform. The factory inlet system is highly restrictive and limits the turbochargers’ ability to draw in air efficiently—especially on tuned vehicles. By replacing these restrictive pipes with oversized 63 mm inlets, the ARM system dramatically improves airflow, resulting in gains of up to 27 whp and 32 wtq, quicker turbo spool, stronger low-end torque, and improved throttle response.

These inlets are a direct replacement for the OEM inlet pipes found on the Audi S6, S7, and RS7. They are compatible with any turbocharger setup that uses OEM-style inlet interfaces, including factory turbos and upgraded hybrids. Even compared to OEM RS inlets, the ARM units provide a larger internal diameter for greater flow potential, making them the preferred choice for builds seeking maximum performance.

To achieve the largest possible piping while retaining OEM-like fitment, ARM utilizes advanced 6-axis machining. This allows the inlets to maintain a full 63 mm diameter throughout the entire length of the piping—contouring precisely within the limited space of the engine bay. The machined aluminum flanges transition smoothly into 63 mm aluminum tubing, which then connects to durable 6-layer reinforced silicone couplers engineered to resist deformation under high suction and boost pressures.

The ARM 4.0T Inlets are designed to pair perfectly with the ARM 4.0T Intake system. The intake positions the filters deep inside the passenger-side airbox cavity to access the coolest possible air. For additional performance, an optional heat shield is available to separate hot engine bay air from the intake filters and ensure cooler, denser airflow.
