ARM Motorsports Audi 4.0T Intake - S6 S7 RS7

The ARM Motorsports 4.0T Intake is engineered to significantly improve airflow to the turbochargers on Audi’s 4.0T V8 platform. The OEM induction system features restrictive intake runner tubes and narrow inlets that limit the engine’s breathing capability, especially on tuned vehicles. The ARM Intake system increases airflow capacity and enhances turbo response, resulting in quicker spool, improved throttle feel, and a more pronounced intake sound.

This intake system consists of two primary components: the intake assembly (filters + runner tubes) and the turbo inlet section. Upgrading both together is considered a full intake upgrade. Because the inlet section contains the most restrictive point in the OEM design, pairing the ARM Intake with upgraded inlets is recommended for Stage 2 and higher power levels.

The kit includes a pair of ARM dry media air filters—each providing 68 cubic inches of surface area for a combined 136 cubic inches. These filters connect to 70 mm T6061 aluminum intake runner tubes, which are 55% larger than the narrow 45 mm factory tubes. The increased diameter allows greater airflow volume and reduces restriction throughout the intake tract.

Each intake runner transitions into a 6-layer reinforced high-temperature silicone coupler. Depending on your setup, you can select OEM inlet couplers (70 mm → 55 mm), RS inlet couplers (70 mm → 66 mm), or full ARM billet inlets for maximum performance. An optional aluminum heat shield is available to isolate the filters from engine bay heat, improving intake air temperatures by directing cold air from the factory ducting.

Whether running OEM inlets or moving toward RS/ARM upgraded inlet systems, the ARM 4.0T Intake provides a robust foundation for builds targeting higher power while maintaining OEM-level fit and finish.
