ARM Motorsports AUDI 8V A3 CATTED DOWNPIPE - FWD

The ARM Motorsports Audi 8V A3 Catted Downpipe is a crucial upgrade for maximizing performance on the EA888 Gen 3 engine. The factory downpipe uses a restrictive catalyst that creates unnecessary backpressure, slows turbo spool, and limits power output. Replacing it with the ARM 3" high-flow catted design dramatically improves exhaust flow, helping your A3 reach boost faster while increasing horsepower, torque, and throttle response.

With significantly reduced backpressure, this downpipe also supports the elevated boost levels found in Stage 2 and Stage 2+ tuning. Many tuners require an upgraded downpipe to safely run their more aggressive files, as the stock unit cannot reliably sustain higher boost without stressing the turbocharger.

Built from TIG-welded T304 stainless steel, the ARM A3 Downpipe features a durable single-piece construction that eliminates common leak points seen in multi-piece systems. A CNC-machined v-band connection system provides a superior seal and allows you to connect either the included 2.5" reducer for OEM cat-backs or the straight 3" adapter for aftermarket exhaust systems. The integrated 200-cell high-flow catalyst reduces exhaust odors and emissions compared to catless configurations while maintaining excellent flow characteristics.

A stainless steel flex section is incorporated to relieve stress on the turbocharger during acceleration, cornering, and braking. When paired with proper tuning, the downpipe can help produce gains of up to 60whp and 105wtq on the stock IS20 turbocharger.
