The ARM Motorsports Audi A3 / S3 8V Catted Downpipe is engineered to unlock the full performance potential of the EA888 Gen 3 2.0T engine. The factory downpipe is a major restriction, limiting boost levels and preventing safe operation beyond a basic Stage 1 tune. Upgrading to this high-flow catted downpipe reduces backpressure significantly, allowing the turbocharger to spool faster and maintain higher boost levels. When properly tuned, drivers can expect gains of up to 20 awhp and 27 awtq along with a more aggressive and refined exhaust tone.

Built from TIG-welded T304 stainless steel, the downpipe features a three-piece modular design with CNC-machined v-band connections for a secure and leak-free installation. The laser-cut bracket and machined mounting prongs ensure precise alignment with factory mounting points. Each kit includes both a stock-exhaust reducer and a full 3-inch adapter, providing compatibility with OEM and aftermarket cat-back systems.

This catted version incorporates a 200-cell high-flow catalyst positioned in the OEM location for proper warm-up and reduced emissions. It helps minimize exhaust fumes and reduces the likelihood of a check engine light, although this cannot be guaranteed. A stainless steel flex section between the turbo and mid-pipe helps relieve stress on the turbocharger caused by drivetrain movement under acceleration, braking, and cornering.
