The ARM Motorsports Intake for the Audi B9/B9.5 S4 and S5 is engineered to maximize airflow to the EA839 3.0T turbocharger, improving power, torque, and turbo spool while delivering aggressive induction sound. By expanding both the intake filter surface area and the diameter of the intake tube, this system provides the free-flowing path your 3.0T needs to perform at its best.

To achieve optimal airflow, this intake system utilizes a massive 6-inch inverted high-flow conical filter offering 144 cubic inches of total filtration area. Air is then directed through an oversized 4-inch 6-ply high-temperature reinforced silicone intake tube, which positions the filter deeper in the cooler section of the engine bay. This design ensures consistent intake temperatures and improved turbo response.

The ARM Intake fully replaces the restrictive OEM airbox, eliminating sound-deadening features that suppress the natural turbo noises of the EA839 engine. With the ARM intake installed, you’ll hear sharper turbo spool, more pronounced induction notes, and a much more engaging driving experience.

A wrinkle-black coated aluminum heat shield is included to separate hot engine bay air from the intake path. It mounts using the OEM strut tower threaded post and works with the factory air snorkel to channel cool air directly toward the filter. The intake tube tapers to 72mm at the turbo side, allowing compatibility with both the ARM Turbo Inlet and OEM inlet.
