ARM Motorsports BMW N54 Dual Cone Intake

The ARM Motorsports N54 Dual Cone Intake (DCI) is a high-performance upgrade that allows your N54-powered BMW to unlock up to 20whp by replacing the restrictive OEM intake system. The stock N54 intake uses a single panel filter, restricting airflow to both turbos simultaneously. In contrast, the ARM DCI kit equips each turbo with its own dedicated filter and piping, enabling each turbo to draw in as much air as needed for optimal performance.

The ARM N54 DCI kit features two pleated inverted dry media high-flow filters, significantly increasing the filter surface area and allowing more airflow to the N54’s turbochargers. The filters’ conical design reduces resistance, improving airflow and helping the turbos spool faster. With reduced restriction, the turbos can operate more efficiently, particularly at higher RPMs where full bolt-on N54 setups can see up to 20whp gains.

Beyond performance, the ARM DCI kit enhances the sound of your turbos. The OEM airbox is designed to suppress turbo noise, but with the ARM DCI kit, you’ll experience a more aggressive turbo sound as the turbos spool up, adding a thrilling auditory element to your driving experience.
