The ARM Motorsports MK7 Golf R Downpipe is engineered to unlock the full performance potential of the Volkswagen MK7 Golf R’s Gen 3 E888 2.0T engine. The factory downpipe is highly restrictive, limiting boost levels and preventing safe operation beyond a basic Stage 1 tune. Upgrading to the ARM downpipe significantly reduces backpressure, allowing the turbocharger to spool faster and maintain higher boost levels for improved horsepower and torque gains. Many vehicles see increases of up to 20 awhp and 27 awtq when paired with proper tuning.

Constructed from TIG-welded T304 stainless steel, this downpipe is built for maximum durability and precise fitment. The system features a three-piece modular design with CNC-machined v-band connections to ensure secure, leak-free joints and easy installation. A laser-cut bracket and machined mounting prongs maintain perfect alignment with factory mounting points. Included is both a stock-exhaust reducer and a full 3-inch adapter, making the downpipe compatible with OEM and aftermarket cat-back systems.

A stainless steel flex section between the turbo and midpipe reduces drivetrain-induced stress on the turbocharger during acceleration, braking, and cornering.
