The ARM Motorsports N63 Intake System for the BMW F12 650i replaces the restrictive factory air boxes with a high-flow dual-cone intake design engineered to increase airflow, improve turbo response, and enhance induction sound. This upgrade allows the N63 engine to breathe more efficiently, resulting in measurable gains in horsepower, torque, and throttle response while maintaining a fully reversible installation with no cutting or trimming required.

The intake system is also available with ARM’s Front Facing Upgrade, which relocates the air filters from the engine bay to a position behind the front grille. This setup supplies the N63 with significantly cooler outside air compared to the warmer engine bay environment, further improving performance and consistency under high-load conditions.

Dyno testing on an N63-equipped 2012 BMW 550i GT with xDrive and a Stage 2 tune yielded baseline numbers of 412awhp and 482awtq. After installing the ARM 3" Downpipes and the ARM N63 Intake, output increased by 48whp and 43wtq for a total of 460awhp and 525awtq, demonstrating the intake’s ability to support substantial power gains.
