The Megan Racing Exhaust System for the 2014+ Lexus IS250 is designed to replace the factory muffler with a larger, free-flowing straight-through type muffler. Unlike OEM mufflers that use multiple chambers to absorb sound frequencies and create backpressure, this exhaust system allows exhaust gases to flow freely, reducing backpressure and improving engine response and power. The straight-through design of the perforated glass-pack mufflers ensures minimal restriction, while sound frequencies are absorbed by the glass-pack material, providing a mellow exhaust tone.
