The OEM muffler relies on multiple chambers to absorb sound frequencies, which results in backpressure, robbing the engine of power and responsiveness. By utilizing straight-through perforated glass-pack mufflers, this system dramatically decreases exhaust backpressure, allowing exhaust gases to flow freely and be absorbed by the glass-pack fiber material, delivering a nice, mellow tone.
