Introducing the Megan Racing “Super Light” (SL-Core) Radiator, designed to maximize cooling efficiency without compromising clearance space in the tight engine bays of Mazda Miata MX-5 models, including the Mazdaspeed editions. Our SL-Core radiator allows us to fit the largest possible heat exchanger while maintaining optimal fan positioning—critical for the tight engine bay of the Mazdaspeed Turbo models.

This radiator is perfect for street driving and occasional high-performance driving events (HPDE), offering a slight improvement in cooling efficiency. Though it's thinner than our typical radiators, we've reduced the fin distance to enhance heat dissipation and maximize efficiency. While it may not be enough for extreme track setups with 350+ horsepower, it’s ideal for mild track days and spirited street driving.

Megan Racing Radiators are made entirely from high-quality aluminum, providing superior durability and heat dissipation compared to stock radiators with plastic tanks. Aluminum tanks prevent the common cracking and leaking issues seen in factory plastic tanks, especially as they age. The upgraded core not only improves heat transfer efficiency but also increases coolant capacity for better performance during high load, high RPM instances.

Designed as a direct bolt-on replacement, this radiator is compatible with OEM fans and A/C condensers, though due to the radiator's slightly increased size, upgrading to high-capacity slim radiator fans is recommended for optimal performance.

NOTE: Some slight trimming around the sides and lower outlet tube may be required during installation.
