ARM Motorsports MK7 GOLF R CATTED DOWNPIPE

The ARM MK7 Golf R Catted Downpipe is engineered to unlock the full tuning potential of your Gen 3 EA888-powered Golf R. The restrictive OEM downpipe limits airflow and prevents the safe use of higher-boost Stage 2 tuning files. Upgrading to the ARM Catted Downpipe relieves backpressure on the turbocharger, allowing the engine to spool faster, generate more power and torque, and deliver a deeper, more refined exhaust tone.

Constructed from TIG welded T304 stainless steel, the downpipe is built for longevity and precision fitment. The system consists of three sections—upper pipe, midpipe, and adapter—connected by CNC machined v-band clamps that ensure secure, leak-free joints. A stainless steel flex section helps reduce stress on the turbo during acceleration, cornering, and braking.

This catted version integrates a 200 cell high-flow catalyst positioned in the OEM location. This reduces exhaust fumes and decreases the likelihood of a check engine light, while ensuring proper warm-up and factory sensor compatibility without extension wires.

The included reducer allows connection to any exhaust system that accepts the factory slip joint. A straight 3" adapter is also provided for cat-back systems that require a full 3" transition.
