The Vargas VTT Silicone Turbo Inlet Kit is engineered as a high-performance, OEM-location upgrade for BMW N54 engines, delivering improved durability, airflow consistency, and thermal resistance compared to factory or metal inlet alternatives. Constructed from premium wire-reinforced silicone, these inlets are designed to withstand extreme underhood temperatures and boost pressure without collapsing or deforming.
Unlike aluminum or steel inlets that can absorb and transfer heat, silicone construction helps reduce heat soak, keeping intake air temperatures more stable under load. Each inlet features a robust 6 mm wall thickness for added strength and longevity, making them suitable for both stock and upgraded turbocharger applications.
VTT silicone inlets install in the factory inlet location for a clean, stock-appearing engine bay. Multiple configuration options are available to support either recirculating diverter valve setups or blow-off valve configurations for vehicles running aftermarket charge pipes. This flexibility allows the inlet system to be tailored to your specific build and airflow requirements.
Optional provisions are available for the factory PTC heater found in the rear inlet tube. This heater is only required for vehicles not running an oil catch can and operating in cold climates where temperatures drop below freezing. Dual cone air filter options are also available for those seeking additional airflow and induction sound.
