Vargas VTT BMW Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

The Vargas VTT Carbon Fiber Driveshaft is engineered to deliver maximum drivetrain efficiency, strength, and reliability for high-performance BMW AWD applications. Manufactured exclusively for VTT in the United States by PST, a leader in carbon fiber driveshaft technology, this driveshaft provides a lightweight yet extremely durable solution for both street and track-driven vehicles.

Constructed using 3.25-inch carbon fiber tubing, this driveshaft is paired with Spicer 1350 yokes and U-joints for exceptional torque handling. All components are bonded using PST’s proprietary process and computer balanced as a complete assembly to extremely tight tolerances, minimizing vibration and ensuring smooth operation at high speeds.

To eliminate unnecessary factory components such as guibos, the system utilizes VTT custom-machined 7075 aluminum front adapters and a 4340 steel rear adapter. This design allows the driveshaft to connect directly to the BMW three-bolt flange while removing the factory screw-in shaft design. The result is a stronger, more responsive drivetrain with reduced rotational mass and improved power transfer.

Each shaft is manufactured with dual carbon fiber wind angles to maximize torsional strength and reduce stress on the driveline. Tube integrity is verified through high-torque testing, ensuring reliability in demanding performance environments. Optional SFI certification is available for motorsport applications when specified at time of order.
