ARM Motorsports VW MK6 COMPETITION FMIC

The ARM MK6 Competition FMIC is engineered as the ultimate charge-air cooling solution for high-power MK6 builds. Rated for up to 800HP and featuring a massive 793-cubic-inch bar-and-plate core, this system delivers exceptional intake-air temperature control even under extreme boost and prolonged high-load driving. Designed specifically for big-turbo applications, this FMIC is ideal for vehicles running at least a K04 turbo upgrade or larger.

Unlike OEM-location intercoolers, this true front-mount design places the intercooler directly behind the lower grille, where it receives the coolest and most direct airflow. This layout dramatically increases cooling efficiency and helps maintain consistent power output during repeated wide-open-throttle pulls or track sessions. Installation does not require disassembling the radiator stack, making the process significantly easier compared to stock-location intercooler upgrades.

The Competition FMIC eliminates the factory intercooler entirely. Owners can leave the OEM unit in place but disconnected, or fully remove it using the ARM OEM Intercooler Delete Kit for improved radiator airflow and reduced weight.

Constructed with ultra-dense fin packs and a high-quality bar-and-plate core measuring 23.5" x 7.5" x 4.5", the system offers industry-leading cooling performance. The kit includes upgraded 6-layer reinforced silicone piping for both hot and cold sides, tested to withstand up to 60 psi of boost pressure. Constant-tension T-bolt clamps provide secure, leak-free operation under the most aggressive driving conditions.

The FMIC mounts using CNC-machined brackets with three anchor points per side, ensuring precise fitment and stability. A CNC-machined adapter is included to mate the system to the ARM MK6 Turbo Outlet Pipe or any TOP designed to match the OEM intercooler connection.
