The ARM Motorsports MK6 GLI Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) Kit is engineered to significantly reduce intake air temperatures and increase charge-air density for improved horsepower and torque on your 2.0T engine. The turbocharger produces extremely hot compressed air due to exhaust gas energy, and hotter air contains less oxygen. By cooling this air before it reaches the engine, the FMIC increases oxygen content and overall power potential.

Unlike OEM-style intercoolers positioned deeper within the radiator stack, this true front-mount design places the intercooler directly in the highest airflow zone at the front bumper. This ensures the coolest possible ambient air reaches the core for maximum cooling efficiency. The FMIC fully replaces the OEM intercooler rather than supplementing it. The factory intercooler can remain disconnected or be removed entirely using the ARM OEM Intercooler Delete Kit, which improves radiator airflow and enhances coolant, oil, and transmission temperature control.

The ARM FMIC features a core size of 23.5" x 6.5" x 3", delivering the perfect balance between cooling performance and minimal pressure drop. By cooling the air more efficiently before the other radiators, it reduces turbo lag and preserves response while maximizing charge-air cooling.
